Programs · across the group

We develop people who can build and run.

Africa has ideas and talent. What is scarce is people who can take responsibility for a business and carry it. Our programmes develop them inside real ventures — structured Afrifounders initiatives that sit across the group, not an institutional arm.

Which one?

GTP is for graduates entering professional work. The Fellowship is for people ready to take responsibility for part of a venture.

How our programs work.

  1. Principle 01

    Selective

Few places, high expectations, recommendation and evaluation before entry.

  2. Principle 02

    Practical

Learning happens against live venture problems, not case studies.

  3. Principle 03

    Accountable

Everyone owns a deliverable that someone else depends on.

  4. Principle 04

    Connected

Programs feed the ventures, and the ventures feed the programs.

From training to venture leadership.

  1. Phase 01

    Training

Structured foundation and immersion in how businesses actually work.

  2. Phase 02

    Apprenticeship

Working alongside operators on live problems with real consequences.

  3. Phase 03

    Venture assignment

Responsibility for a function inside a venture, measured on outcomes.

  4. Phase 04

    Venture leadership

For some, a long-term operating or leadership role in the ecosystem.

In development

Programs in development.

Founder and operator programmes are being designed against the same four principles. Nothing is announced until its dates, format and delivery are approved — so this page will stay at two live programmes until a third is genuinely ready.

Impact Partner

Skillup Africa

A separate nonprofit impact and programme organisation that Afrifounders works with. It is not an Afrifounders commercial venture and Afrifounders holds no ownership in it.
