Technology arm · Afrifounders Labs

Where ideas become working systems.

Labs is the technology arm of the group: the team that turns a validated thesis into a product people can actually use, and keeps it running well enough to trust.

Quality & process

How a build actually runs.

Two-week cycles, a working demo at the end of each, and no feature shipped without instrumentation, accessibility review and a rollback path.

  1. 01

    Frame

The question, the user, the constraint and the measure of done.

  2. 02

    Prototype

The smallest thing that can be tested with real users.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week cycles, reviewed demos, tested releases.

  4. 04

    Operate

Monitoring, support paths, performance and security review.

Experiments & prototypes

Small builds that answer one question.

Labs runs short experiments to test a mechanic, a market or a technology before a venture commits to it. Each one is recorded with the question it asked and the result it produced. An experiment is never published as a product claim, so this gallery opens only when the write-ups have been reviewed.

  1. Rule 01

    A question, not a feature

Every experiment starts as something that can be answered wrong.

  2. Rule 02

    A result, not a demo

What we learned is the output. The prototype is disposable.

  3. Rule 03

    A decision

The venture either commits, adjusts or stops. All three are useful.

Labs & Studio

Labs builds it. The Studio takes it to market and runs it.

The two engines share one plan. A validated thesis moves into Labs at Build; a working product moves back to the Studio at Launch, with the same people still in the room.

  1. Studio

    Discover · Validate

  2. Labs

    Build

  3. Studio

    Launch · Operate · Scale
